Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study and compare the opinion of students toward a model for ethical morality and social responsibility development among Thai higher education students, classified by gender, faculty, and class levels. The samples for this research study were 318 students enrolled in semester 1/2011 at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Nonthaburi Campus. The number of samples was acquired by a proportional stratified random sampling from the population of 1,846 students. The research methodologies used in this research were a questionnaire, data analysis with a statistical software package using validity, reliability, percentage, means, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA), and the Scheffe method of multiple comparisons. The research results show that the opinion of students toward a model for ethical morality development and social responsibility among Thai higher education students were at a high level, both overall and in each aspect of opinion. The opinion of students shows that different genders were difference both in overall and in each aspect of opinion. Students who study in different faculties have the same overall opinions but differ in some aspects of opinion. In addition, students who study in different class levels have the same both overall and in each aspect of opinion.
