วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้สามารถบรรลุเป้าหมายในการพัฒนาและการจัดการระบบ Logistics ของบริษัทไปรษณีย์ไทย จำกัด โดยพิจรณากำหนดเป้าหมายการดำเนินการเพื่อนลดต้นทุนที่ไม่ก่อให้เกิดมูลค่า (Non Value Added Cost) หรือลดต้นทุนที่เกิดขึ้นจากการผิดพลาดอันเกิดจากการทำงานซ้ำซ้อน
