Abstract
Direct torque control (DTC) of three-phase permanent magnet brushless AC (PM BLAC)motor having one phase open-circuit fault (OPOF) is presented. Torque and flux linkages of the faultymotor are estimated by proposed estimators. Control topology, voltage vectors and design procedureare described. Simulated results show that the proposed topology can be operated under fault situationat rated torque and speed operation. Performances of the system are validated by the measured data.
